The intuitive and easy to use, PC or Mac
compatible Software Package contains simple
toolbars that allow you to manipulate your
design on a 3-dimensional representation
of your work piece. You can add images from
the Software's Library or import your own
images into the library. From there the images
can be "dragged and dropped" onto
the work piece display; you can then combine
images, add text, size and re-shape, or adjust
the carving depth. You can even draw out
your design using 2D drawing capabilities.
Three-dimensional Design Elements
The CarveWright design software
includes
a library of 3 dimensional elements
similar
to clip-art. These elements can
be "dragged
and dropped" onto the work
piece then
arranged, mirrored, scaled, rotated
and merged
together to create an infinite
variety of
unique carvings.
Surfaces and Textures
With CarveWright design software
you can
contour the surface of the work
piece using
domes and arcs. You can also
apply a variety
of textures to your work which
adds to the
character of the piece.
Two 2D drawing
The CarveWright design software
allows you
to draw 2D figures using lines
and curves
(splines). And like CAD Software,
it allows
you to apply constraints to those
figures.
Text
The CarveWright design software
has extensive
text capabilities. You can raster
text for
a bold 3D effect or outline the
text using
a variety of bits. You can also
quickly carve
text using a V bit for an engraved
look.
The design software uses the
true type fonts
already on your computer, so
you can create
unique one of a kind signs.
Additional libraries of elements
are available
and new elements are constantly
being added.
